School Undergraduate Computing Accounts

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

There have been problems reported with links on this page which open in seperate windows ie the pages do not appear  This problem is related to the Internet Explorer "Pop-Up" blocker under Windows XP SP2.    If you experience problems, please follow the below steps to allow popups for all UWA websites.

  1. In Internet Explorer, select the "Tools" menu -> "Popup Blocker" -> "Popup Blocker Settings"
  2. In the "Address of Web site to allow" box, type *.uwa.edu.au
  3. Click the "Add" button then cick the "Close" button


Overview

You will need a School undergraduate computing account to:

  • Use a computer in the Histology Laboratory G.03 or Third Year Laboratory 1.72
  • Use the print facility in the Histology Laboratory G.03
  • Access certain web based teaching material

Eligibility

 

All students registered as enrolled in an active undergraduate Anatomy & Human Biology unit will be provided with a School undergraduate computing account.

Important information about your account

The School of Anatomy & Human Biology undergraduate computer system obtains student usernames and password from the central UWA PHEME account system.   Please read the appropriate section below for further information:

Users are required to have an active PHEME username and password before they activate their School computing account.  
Your School account username and password will be identical to your PHEME username and password.  If you change your password on your PHEME account your School account will be automatically updated with the same password.

Conditions:

  • You will be held responsible for any computing activities that occur under your username.
  • Access rights are dependant upon your enrolment details.
  • Your Anatomy account will be deactivated if you cease to be enrolled in an active Anatomy & Human Biology unit. Deactivated accounts will be deleted after 30 days.
  • Claims for unused print credits will need to be registered with reception before your account has been deleted.  Unclaimed credits will be lost.

 

Activating your account

Students with an active PHEME account may activate their Anatomy & Human Biology School account by following the steps on the School’s account activation page

 

Resetting your Password

Passwords for Anatomy computing accounts are now automatically obtained from the central UWA PHEME Account system.  To change your password, please visit the PHEME Account Management  page

 

Account Status Check

Check if your Anatomy computing account is active, when its due to expire etc

 

Help

Assistance with computer access within the Anatomy building can be obtained from the enquiries counters on the ground and 1st floor.
