School of Anatomy & Human Biology

Second Year Units

Second Year Undergraduate Units

The second-year units deal in greater depth with themes touched on in Human Biology I (Becoming Human) and II (Being Human). Students wishing to major in Anatomy and Human Biology are required to take at least 12 points of second year Anatomy & Human Biology units.   Students not wishing to major in Anatomy and Human Biology may also elect to take separate single-semester units that deal with specific subject areas. Prospective majors and non-majors alike who have a special interest in the integration of cultural and biological perspectives on the human condition are encouraged to take Sex and Aggression 221/321 (or Sex Aggression II). The Sex & Aggression units are jointly offered by Anatomy & Human Biology and Anthropology and can be used towards an Anatomy & Human Biology Major.
